Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and engaging Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach to lead classes for youth. This role focuses on teaching foundational BJJ techniques while helping students develop discipline, confidence, and respect in a structured and positive environment.
We are looking for a reliable and engaging Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach to lead classes for youth. This role focuses on teaching foundational BJJ techniques while helping students develop discipline, confidence, and respect in a structured and positive environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead structured youth BJJ classes for beginner to intermediate students
- Teach proper technique, safety, and sportsmanship
- Maintain control of the class and ensure a safe training environment
- Encourage confidence, discipline, and teamwork among students
- Communicate professionally with parents and gym staff
- Start and end classes on time and keep students engaged throughout
Qualifications
- Experience training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a Brown Belt or higher
- Previous coaching experience required
- Previous coaching or teaching experience with children strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and classroom management skills
- Positive, energetic, and professional attitude
- Ability to create a structured but fun learning environment
Schedule
- Evening and/or weekend youth classes
- Flexible based on class schedule
Compensation
- $45 per class
